The agreement
Terms of use, clause by clause
These Terms govern this website, not the clinical care you receive at the clinic.
The agreement
Acceptance of these Terms
By using this website you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. They form a binding agreement between you and Dr. Raman Clinic & Diabetes Centre under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
What these Terms cover
They cover your access to and use of this website and the information and booking requests made through it. They do not cover the clinical care you receive at the clinic, which is governed separately by the consent and case records you sign there.
Who may use this site
Anyone who can enter into a contract under Indian law. If you are under 18, use the site only through a parent or lawful guardian who accepts these Terms for you. By using the site you confirm the information you give us is accurate.
Using the site
What may I use the site for
To find out about the clinic, its doctor and its services, and to send us an appointment request or an enquiry. You may print or download pages for your own non-commercial reference.
What is not allowed
You must not submit false or impersonating information, or another person's data without their authority; attempt unauthorised access to the site or its data; introduce malware; scrape or harvest content or personal data by automated means; interfere with the site's operation; or use the site to send unsolicited commercial messages or to harass anyone.
Are appointments confirmed when I submit the form
No. A request submitted through the site is a request, not a booking. An appointment exists only when the clinic confirms it by phone, e-mail or message. Availability described on the site is indicative and changes during the day.
What about fees and payment
Fees are stated at the clinic and confirmed at reception; nothing on this site is a quotation binding on the clinic. Payment modes and any insurance reimbursement are also confirmed at reception. Nothing in these Terms takes away a right you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
What about cancellations
Please tell us as early as you can if you cannot keep an appointment, on +91 70119 995455, so the slot can be given to someone else. Any cancellation or rescheduling rule that applies to a specific service is stated with that service or at reception.
A clinical site is not a doctor
Is the information on this site medical advice
No. The information on this site is general information for the public. It is not a diagnosis, not a prescription, not a dosage, and not a substitute for a consultation with a doctor. Do not start, stop or change any treatment on the basis of this website.
What should I do in an emergency
Do not use this website or its contact form in an emergency. If you have chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, sudden weakness, a seizure, a severe allergic reaction, or you are pregnant and in pain or bleeding — call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency department.
Is any outcome guaranteed
No. No treatment outcome can be guaranteed, and none is promised on this site. What a treatment involves and what recovery usually looks like is described from what the clinic states; your own outcome depends on your condition and is discussed with your doctor.
Ownership and third parties
Who owns the content on this site
Dr. Raman Clinic & Diabetes Centre or its licensors. The text, design, layout, graphics and logos are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell or create a derivative work from any part of the site without our prior written permission.
What about links to other sites
We may link to a third-party site or service — including the Practo and healthplix appointment pages. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement, and your arrangement with that third party is between you and them.
Liability
Is the site guaranteed to be available or accurate
The site is provided as is and as available. We take care to keep it accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete, accurate or uninterrupted, and we may suspend it without notice for maintenance. If the information matters to a decision about your health, confirm it with the clinic.
What is the clinic liable for
To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business, goodwill or data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your rights as a consumer.
Do I have to indemnify the clinic
You agree to indemnify Dr. Raman Clinic & Diabetes Centre and its staff against a claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the site.
Ending, changing, and the law
Can the clinic suspend my access
Yes, without notice, if you breach these Terms or where the law requires it. You may stop using the site at any time. The provisions that by their nature survive — ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law — continue to apply.
Can these Terms change
We may update them. The current version, with its effective date, is always on this page, and your continued use after a change takes effect is acceptance of it. Where a change materially affects your rights we give notice on the site.
Which law and which courts
The laws of India, and the courts at Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction. Please raise a concern with us first — most are resolved without proceedings.
Who do I contact about these Terms
Grievance Officer, Dr. Raman Clinic & Diabetes Centre, C-11, Mansaram Park, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi, Delhi 110059 — +91 70119 995455. A grievance is acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within 30 days.
