What we do
Your blood sugar as a trend, not a single reading
Diabetes is what this clinic is for — the name says so, and the doctor's speciality says so.
A consultation here looks at how your sugar has moved since last time, what has changed in your routine, and what to do about it. For most people with type 2 diabetes the work is unglamorous and continuous: reviewing medication, watching weight and blood pressure, and catching the complications early.
Who this is for
- People newly told their blood sugar is high
- People on treatment whose readings are not coming down
- Anyone with numbness, burning or pain in the feet and hands
- Patients who want their blood pressure and heart risk watched alongside the sugar
The fee is not published on this website. Please ask at reception when you call, or confirm it when you book. This page is general information and does not replace a consultation with a doctor.

What to expect
How a consultation works
- History What has changed since the last visit, what you are taking, what you are eating.
- Examination Blood pressure, weight, and the examination your condition calls for.
- Review Your reports and readings, in the context of how you actually live.
- Plan Medication and tests explained in plain words, with the reason for each.
- Follow-up A date to come back, and what should have changed by then.
If you are already on treatment for diabetes, bring your reports and your current prescriptions. A consultation without them is half a consultation.
